Our name draws inspiration from Iceland's Norse heritage and the longship — engineered for speed, adaptability, and the ability to navigate waters others could not.
Iceland Capital Partners brings that same approach to every engagement: understanding the environment, identifying the right course, and helping clients move confidently toward the strongest possible outcome.
Who We Are
We founded Iceland Capital Partners on a simple conviction: owners of lower-middle-market companies deserve the same caliber of advice that Fortune 500 boards receive — without being handed off to a junior team.
We advise businesses typically generating $2M–$25M in EBITDA across sell-side and buy-side M&A, capital raising, and debt placement, including companies underserved by traditional bank credit. Because we are independent and take no lending or principal positions, our only incentive is your outcome.
We work primarily with founders — most navigating a first-time sale or capital raise. And we represent founders only: we never work for private equity firms, so our advice is never colored by the buyers across the table. Many of our peers can't say the same.
Every engagement is led start-to-finish by a senior partner.
What We Do
We position your business to maximize value, run a confidential, competitive process across strategic and financial buyers, and negotiate relentlessly on your behalf — from preparation through close.
We identify, approach, and diligence proprietary acquisition targets, structure the transaction, and support integration planning so acquisitions create value rather than complexity.
We structure and secure growth capital and shareholder liquidity — from senior secured debt to structured and mezzanine credit — including solutions for strong companies that fall outside traditional bank underwriting.
Refinancing high-cost obligations, restructuring balance sheets, evaluating strategic alternatives, and providing ongoing corporate finance counsel when the path forward is unclear.
Why Iceland Capital
The partner you meet on day one runs your deal on day one hundred. No hand-offs, no leverage-model staffing.
We never represent private equity. We don't lend, invest, or cross-sell. Our advice carries no agenda but yours.
Value is created through process: curated buyer and lender universes, controlled information, and multiple parties at the table.
Market windows don't stay open. We move with speed and confidentiality, so opportunity isn't lost to process drag.
Our People
Our principals have completed more than 150 transactions across 60+ years of combined experience at leading investment banks, private equity firms, and operating companies. We maintain a deliberately low profile — our clients prefer it that way, and so do we.
Introductions and credentials are shared directly, in confidence.
